Gage's 1st Christmas!!!

There are NO words to describe how amazing the holidays are with kids!

I have always LOVED Christmas and spending time with family,
but, it is so much better when you have your own kids to spoil and make memories and traditions with!
This year we did our family gifts on Christmas Eve morning because we were not going to be home on Christmas Day because of Brett's crazy work schedule!
We were not too sure how in to the whole present thing Gage would be...

But, HE LOVED IT! The paper was his favorite!
*He Loved his train though!
On Christmas Eve we went to church, and that was awesome!
Thanks Mom, Dad and Austin for joining us!
After church we headed over to Brett's parents house to have our Christmas over there. Brett's brother Brian, his wife Kimberly, and Evan and Kyle were there so we got to have Christmas with the whole family! It was so much fun! Lots of good food too!
*I want to make it a point to have more "FAMILY" pics, not just pics of Gage and Brett! HAHA
*Gage got this Awesome bat from Grandma Sherri and Grandpa Dave, It matches the one that they got for Brett when he was little!
It will go perfectly in his room!

On Christmas Morning we were at my Parents house, and that is always fun on Christmas!

Mid-December!

Wow, I feel like time is just flying by.

People always said that time goes SO much faster once you have kids,
THEY ARE RIGHT!
Maybe it's because we never have down time, and there is always something to do!
But, I LOVE IT!
We have been pretty busy getting ready for Christmas!(pics of our decorated house to come!)
But, during this crazy time of year, Brett and I got to have a night with just the 2 of us!
Gage had his first sleep over with Barbie on Sunday night!
It was so weird to not have him here when I woke up on Monday morning, but that little break
was for sure needed! We got a full nights sleep, and some time together!(RARE!)
Thank you Mom so much!!!! You are the best!
I know Gage had a blast!
The other day we had a little family photo shoot! I just loved Gage's outfit!

*So I guess he couldn't see "Handy Manny" well enough so he repositioned himself to see the T.V.!
*So crazy that Gage was about to start growing a mullet, Julie was at my Mom's house yesterday, and she just trimmed up the back! Thanks Julie!

I seem to just not have enough time in my day to get on the computer and update the blog...

We are transitioning in to rice cereal and veggies with Gage, and that's an experience
all in it self!
He is doing amazing, and we are very happy about that!

I know that Thanksgiving was like 3 weeks ago..but since I am so behind...

Early December!

Sorry I have not been updating very often...It has been a little crazy around here the past couple of weeks!

We have been working like crazy on our back patio, spending time with our nieces and nephews, celebrating birthdays and having very special visitors!
*This was after about 20 minutes of pictures..so Gage and Carter were not too in to it!
*Happy Birthday Tyf!!!! We Love you!!!! She is 25 HAHA! (But I am the cute one still!)

Every year Brett's Dad. Dave, dresses up as Santa, and they go and visit the grandkids, and this year we were lucky enough to have Tyf and her kiddos here and Santa came over and they LOVED IT! It was such an amazing treat! Thanks Guys!!!!!

The Latest!!

Tyf and her kids have been here for the past week visiting!!!!!
And the cousins have had lots of play time!!!!
It has been soooo much fun!!!

*While Tyf was here, she got her hair done dark, for the first time EVER!
**It's quite funny for us both the be dark right now!

So, if the cousins get lots of play time...that means that we get to hangout lots too!

It has been so much fun to have our Niece's and Nephew here for Brett's Birthday!!!!

4 Months!!!!

I woke up this morning and could not believe that Gage is 4 months old...TODAY!

So crazy to think that 4 months ago, TODAY, I looked like this...

4 Month check up Stats!

Weight: 14 lbs 14 oz /50th percentile
Height: 26 inches/ 85th percentile (haha and I am 4'11'' too funny!)
Head Circumference: 16 inches/ 10th percentile

We are so lucky to have such a good little boy!!! and we are so excite to watch him grow up!
The past 4 months have been a whirlwind..But I would never change them for anything!!!

From house to home part 1!!

We have been in our home for 13 months already! it seems like yesterday we were planning a wedding and thinking about what our life would be like a married couple. Little did we know that our family would be started so soon! So The first year of our marriage I was way more worried about getting through my pregnancy than I was about making our house feel more like a home!

Since I am now a stay at home Mom, and loving every minute I get to spend with my little G Money! I am doing so really fun PROJETS (or better known as Projects!)
(I really miss my Reese, Cash and Carter, in case you didn't notice!)
My newest obsession is going to Garage Sales and buys old, ghetto furniture and making it ours!

*This was a serious 1970's cabinet, that was so ugly and dirty,
Now check it out! I LOVE IT!

*This was a little boys dresser, and it was colored on and had lots of scratches and was not a nice color....And look at it now! An awesome place to store my sewing machine!
Now, if i could only find a place to store my 4 tubs of fabric?!?

*This bench is so dang cute I just Love it!
It fits perfectly in my hallway!
It used to be brown with water spots on the seat...
Now its a Dream in Cream!!!!! LOVE IT!

I am so happy that we are starting to turn our house in to a home! It's an amazing feeling!

P.s. Just want to say how much I miss my sister and her family... it seems so quite around my Moms house when we go over there. I just keep telling myself that they will be back soon enough.
But, let me tell you...not having your best friend 20 minutes away it really hard.

1st Anniversary and MORE!!!!

It is so hard to believe that 1 year ago today Brett and I were getting married!!!

It was such a special day and I would never change that day for anything!!!!!
Sorry I don't have any pictures for us all to reminisce about the earlier days of our relationship...but our other computer died with all the pictures on it.
(my pictures are still safe, i just can;t get to them today.)
In one year we have done so many things...including turning our house in to a home, and bringing the most beautiful BIG MAN (baby boy) in to this world! We have grown closer and our love has grown stronger as we start our family. I can't wait to have TONS more years just like this one!

On a different note....G Money decided to make our anniversary just a little sweeter today....
HE ROLLED OVER FOR THE FIRST TIME WITH OUT ANY HELP!!!!!
He goes from his back to his tummy, and he does it EVERY time I put him down on his back, so it wasn't just a fluke!!!!!Brett and I were so excited, and we are just amazed to watch our son grow and become a little boy!!!!! It is so fun!!!!!!*Before the big event!!!!!!!
