Happy Family!!!!

It is such a cool feeling to think, I have "MY" family now!
I know I have tons of support from our families, but its different when
it's your baby! I just LOVE IT!
I LOVE being a Mom!
Brett Adores being a Daddy!
We DON'T love middle of the night wake up calls!
But We love baby Gage so it makes it alright!
I LOVE how much Reese and Cash Love Gage!
I Love the bond that having a child gives Brett and I!*Daddy is pretty skilled with taking pictures!!!!
*Can somebody say "Really Big Shorts!"
*Dad insisted that he wear shorts! TOO FREAKING CUTE!
*Our sweet boy! I just Love that his cheeks are getting chubbier!
*It takes a lot to keep Gage awake! He gets that from his Daddy!

We can not believe that Gage is going to be 2 weeks old tomorrow! It is just too weird!
But the crazy part about it, is that it just feels normal to have him in our home,
and a part of our family!

~Gage update~

Gage had MORE blood work done on Friday, and his jaundice level finally started to go down!!!!!!
He is eating like a little porker!!!! We love it that he is getting better and eating and pooping on a regular basis! What a thing to wish for!*Gage has to lay on the "Billy Blanket" to help the Jaundice.
It was so fun to go to Tyf's house the other day and "ATTEMPT" to get pictures of all 4 grandkids together at the same time! It's interesting with Reese and Cash!!!! But we made it through!!!!
Gage is just such a good baby and we could not ask for a better sleeper during the night!
We are already getting 4 hours at a time! It's great!

Happy 1 week Birthday Gage!!!!!!
We Love you and can't believe that it has already been a week!!!!!!!

Whirlwind!!!!!

The past couple of days has truly been a whirlwind for us.
But it has also been the most amazing couple of days!!!!
You don't realize how fast you can fall in love with someone until you have a baby of your own!
Parenthood is just the most rewarding feeling ever!
*Gage just chillin', he looks oh so tiny when he is swaddled!
*My boys! This was just too cute, Daddy and Gage taking a nap together!
*Gage's 1st bath!
*He was not a happy camper about the whole bath thing! But it was needed!
We thought he was super cute even though he cried through the whole thing!

*Gage and his cousin Carter, who was born on June 6th.
Brett and I were talking about it, before Gage was born, Carter seemed so tiny,
Now that we have a 6 pound baby Carter seems HUGE! But she isn't!

Gage got tested again today for jaundice, and his levels were still pretty high, they
are delivering a "Billy Blanket" tonight, and he has to go get tested again tomorrow morning, Poor little guy. But we are going to get this under control! Keep him in your prayers!

37 Weeks!

I can not believe that we are this close!!!!
It is just so exciting! Anytime now "Syrup" will be making his arrival!
He is getting BIG, and is VERY, VERY active! I am pretty sure that there is
not enough room in there! He is just a big boy!
My best friend these past few weeks has for sure been the pool!
Even though it is not refreshing at all, it does take the pressure off my back and hips! So that's a good thing!
Brett and my Mom have been great sports, and go to the pool with me WHENEVER I want!
Even when it's dark, which is SUPER RARE for my Mom!
Thanks Guys!
I have officially moved from my own sweat pants, basketball shorts, and t-shirts to Brett's!
It is so much more comfortable!
This past weekend i was sitting at my parents house and I realized that I still had not
made the crib skirt, or hemmed the curtains in "Syrup's" room, so that was a kick in the booty.
I finished those up realizing that any day now he will be here and I would for sure not want to do it once he is home!
Here are some pictures of the room finished!

*Finally the crib is totally ready! Crib Skirt and EVERYTHING!
*Changing table, Stocked and ready to go!
*A second view!
*The valance (made by yours truly and Brett!) Those of you who know me, know I am not the best with a staple gun! and curtains!
We go to the Doctor again tomorrow! Hopefully it will be some good news, and "Syrup" will be here VERY soon!

36 weeks!!! and counting!!!!!

I hope everyone enjoyed their 4th of July! We had a very relaxing weekend, which is exactly the way we like it!
Saturday we went to my parents for dinner and swimming! Its great that my Mom loved the pool just as much as well ANYONE! So she is always up for laying out!
On Sunday, Carter was blessed at church so we went to her blessing, and then had brunch at Tyf's house. The food was amazing and it was just a fun time!
*I can not believe that we are already mid-week 36!!!!
*I have already started having mild contractions about 2 times an hour, nothing huge, but lets get the ball rolling! It is TOO HOT here! I am trying to lay low and relax as much as possible!
*We go back to the Dr. on Wednesday, so we will see what he says then!
*Working is hard these days, not a fan, my feet are so puffy now that I have no choice but to wear sandals to work, which is NOT ALOUD, but there is nothing I can do to change that!
And YES I know I am big! I just keep telling myself, The End Is Near!!!!!!On a different note, last Monday, Brett hit his head on the bottom of the pool, and had to get 9 staples in the top of his head. That was an eventful day. He is doing better now, just a stiff neck still, he hit pretty hard, and I am so grateful that all that happened was the cut, it could have been WAY worse.
