5 whole months!!!

Today Harper is 5 months old.
I can seriously NOT believe it.
Every time I think about my sweet baby, i still think of her as 5 weeks old not 5 MONTHS!
The other night I was putting on her pj's and could not figure out why they were so short on her... I kept thinking, "These are 3 month pj's!!! What the heck!" and then I got to thinking about it, and she is closer to 6 months than 3!!! WOW! Time flies when you are having fun!
Sorry its blurry...its from my dang phone!

Things Harper is doing at 5 months old:
*Sleeping at least 10 hours at night!
*Eating Oatmeal! (3 times a day!)
*Laughing ALOT! (Especially at Gage!)
*Rolls everywhere! Back to belly and belly to back! all the way across the room!
*She would Play in her saucer all day long if we let her!
*Pulls everyone's hair!  Even my mom!  And her hair is WAY short!
*She is very ticklish!
*She has the craziest tongue ever! It is very rarely in her mouth!
*She is in mostly 6 month onsies, but still wears 0-3 month skirts!  She is a tall and "Skinny" girl!
*She is OBSESSED with her Giraffe "Sophie"!  It is so funny to hear it squeak from the back seat of the car!

Harper we love you Sister!!!! Happy 5 Months!!!

Too Fast!

Harper was not interested in oatmeal at all for about a month.  I would try it every few days...
and she would gag, or spit it out at me... and it always went pretty far.  Which is always fun!
But, the day we got home from our 8 day trip to Florida, she started to eat the oatmeal like a Champ!!!
It has made her sleep so much better, and she LOVES it!  I get a kick out of it when she squaks at me for more!

More on what Harper is eating later!

So Lucky!

This past week my family was all in Florida for Mom-Mom's funeral.
We are so grateful to have had that time as a family to laugh and remember how AMAZING she is!
The service was perfect, and we were a little emotional, but we are so blessed to have had her in our lives!  She will be with us forever!
*Harper Eating Barbie's face!

*Gage took this on the plane, and it was not planned!

 *Beach! So soothing!
 *Mom and Dad!
*The Zoo!  10 minutes after this picture was taken...it was a downpour...and Brett and Austin were zip lining!!!!! That was attempt #1! It was cancelled half way through! Dang lightning!
*We were stuck under a canopy for 45 minutes waiting for the rain to let up... IT DIDN'T!!!!

 *Gage hand feeding a deer!
*My parents kept Gage, Harper and Graham while Austin, Michael, Tiffany, Al, Brett and I went zip lining! Attempt #2! It was a success!
 *Love my Sister!
 *Dad and Austin!
 *Tyf, Austin and I
*And again! (Mom-Mom ALWAYS wore something red!  So we wore red!)
*My Aunt Sissy, Janet (A close family friend!) and My Mom!
 *The whole "Family"!!!!
*This is Tammy and Al! Al is My Godfather. And I had not seen him in YEARS!!!! He and his Tammy (Who Gage is obsessed with!) came to be with our family.  They only live about 2 hours away from where we were! This was the 1st time they had met my kids or Brett.  I am so glad that they were there! Thank You for helping with my crazy kids!!!!
*Austin, Al and Harper were all wearing "candycane" stripes! So I had to document!
*Austin, Tammy, Me, My Mom, Al, Tyf!
*Al and Tammy and Mom and Dad!

Our family was surrounded by so much love this week!  We are so grateful to have such amazing people in our lives!  Mom-Mom was loved and cherished by so many, and they all came to show their love for her!

Yuck...

I have been so bad about blogging lately... and I am going to blame it on the fact that Gage, Harper and I have all been sick for over a week now. (And I am a little bit lazy!!!!!)
There has been LOTS of Kleenex used, lots of cool baths to break fevers, and our fare share of meds to go along with it!
I took Harper in to the Doctor, because she would not eat and everytime I would try to nurse, she screamed.  And sure enough she had an ear infection AND pink eye!  Of course when 1 kid gets pink eye the other will FOR SURE get it, and I got it too!  Thankfully the pediatrician just told me to use Harper's drops on all of us!  So that was cleared up in just 2 days!  Thank Heavens!
Gage had a fever for 7 days, and now just has the runny nose and cough still.  Poor guy just isn't kicking this junk.
I then had NO voice what so ever for 2 days and still have a sore throat and cough.
We just keep praying that this will all be over VERY soon!!
 More Later!!!

XOXO
