Oh How I Love This Boy!!!!

There are so many priceless moments being a parent..
When I can capture the true essence of who Gage really is,
It makes me SOOO happy!!!!!
Barbie got Gage this really cool barn, that has 4 animals in it and they all make noise!
He LOVES it!!!!
The Duck is his favorite, in case you can't tell from the picture!
Barbie always seems to find the funnest toys!

What!- Teeth!!!!

Alright, the day has come that my little man gets teeth!
Not just 1...but 2!
They popped through within a week of each other!
So crazy!
We have tried to get some pictures...but he always covers the teeth with his tongue.
So, as soon as i can snap a decent picture of the pearly whites, I will post it!

Palm Springs!

Last Sunday Brett and I were talking and I sad that I would Love to go surprise Tyf, and her kiddos in Palm Springs the next day,(Michael was going on a business trip and she would be there alone...BORING!) So, I packed up Gage's stuff and My stuff for 4 days, and first thing Monday morning we were on our way!

It was so exciting to be on my way to Palm Springs and Tyf have NO IDEA!!!!!
When Tyf saw that I was there, she could not believe it!!!! It was the best EVER!
Cash on the other hand wanted to know "Where's my Untle Bwett??"
Apparently Gage and I aren't enough! Whatever!
Being there and getting away for just a couple of days was so amazing..
But, I for sure missed Brett like crazy!
Tyf and I had so much fun shopping together and just having some sister time after the munchkins went down for the night! (We love the Bachelor!)


*Gage had so much fun with his cousins!!!! He LOVES Reese so much!
*Yes it was cold, and yes they are "NAKEN" and YES they had a ball playing in the bucket of rain water!

*It was so funny to have 2 babies on the same schedule, pretty much needing exactly the same thing at the same time! We aren't used to the idea of Twins haha!
*Gage just chillin' watching us cook I think!

And once again Tyf and I get together and not 1 picture of anyone over the age of 4!
We really have to get on top of that!
It was so fun to be with them this past week! And We miss you guys already!!!!!

6 month Check-Up!

*Gage in the car on the way to the Doctor.
Gage was in such a good mood this morning before his Doctor's appointment!
He had a great breakfast with Daddy, and was just so happy!

6 Month Stats.....
Weight: 17 lbs 2 oz-45th percentile
Height: 26.5 inches- 50th percentile

He is doing great! And growing perfectly!!!!!
Gage got 3 shots today, and only cried for maybe 30 seconds!!!!
He was so tough today!!!!!

Crazy Week!

We have been so busy around here this past week!

My sister and her husband went out of town and we all helped with their kiddos,
Cash was with us from Tuesday until Saturday Evening! We had fun having him here!
On Saturday My parents and I took Tyf's kids and Gage of course to Uncle Austin 's Baseball game!
The kids had so much fun eating all of Barbie's snacks, and playing catch with Papa...not too much game watching going on there! But they did yell VERY loud for Uncle when he was batting!
*Gage was watching the game very intently.. while Carter was too busy watching what I was doing!
*This is probably Cash asking for more of Barbie's snacks!

On Sunday, My mom and I had so much fun making Bloomin' Onions!!!!
They tasted just like Outback and we made the famous sauce too!!!!
SOOOOO YUMMY!!!!!

*This was before the stove caught on fire!!!!!
Good thing My Dad and Brett were there to save the day!
Mom and I are not too good around HOT OIL!

Tonight we gave Gage his "mesh bag" with a handle!

It was too funny watching him go to town with this thing full of bananas!
Brett and I ate dinner and he just attacked the banana!
And today is also Gage's HALF BIRTHDAY!!!!!!
We can not believe that we have a 6 month old!!!!
It is so much fun watching him change everyday!
(Brett says we are 1/4 of the way to TERRIBLE 2'S!)

It's Official...

I AM THE WORST BLOGGER EVER!!!!!

It seems like every time I think about updating our blog, I think of 12 other things that sit 1 spot higher on my priority list like dishes, laundry, changing sheets, cleaning bathrooms, and all that fun stuff!
But, I have been pretty bad thee past couple of weeks with taking pictures, and right now is when Gage is changing EVERYDAY! It is so crazy!
*We got Gage this awesome "Bath ring" it helps him sit up on his own, and he LOVES the freedom! We just sit and laugh at him sinking his toys!
*Well folks...We have entered in to Sippy Cup stage! He LOVES to chew on the top, but is so proud of him self when he gets a good suction and actually gets a drink! Too Cute!
Ok this outfit was too cute to not take a picture!
*Barbie was trying to hold him up, so yes it looks like he is wearing a muscle shirt! HAHA
But Please note his NIKE running shoes!!!!!!

Gage's 1st Christmas!!!

There are NO words to describe how amazing the holidays are with kids!

I have always LOVED Christmas and spending time with family,
but, it is so much better when you have your own kids to spoil and make memories and traditions with!
This year we did our family gifts on Christmas Eve morning because we were not going to be home on Christmas Day because of Brett's crazy work schedule!
We were not too sure how in to the whole present thing Gage would be...

But, HE LOVED IT! The paper was his favorite!
*He Loved his train though!
On Christmas Eve we went to church, and that was awesome!
Thanks Mom, Dad and Austin for joining us!
After church we headed over to Brett's parents house to have our Christmas over there. Brett's brother Brian, his wife Kimberly, and Evan and Kyle were there so we got to have Christmas with the whole family! It was so much fun! Lots of good food too!
*I want to make it a point to have more "FAMILY" pics, not just pics of Gage and Brett! HAHA
*Gage got this Awesome bat from Grandma Sherri and Grandpa Dave, It matches the one that they got for Brett when he was little!
It will go perfectly in his room!

On Christmas Morning we were at my Parents house, and that is always fun on Christmas!
