Palm Springs!!!!

Oh My goodness....We had SOOO much fun going to visit Tyf, Michael and their kids in Palm Spring this week! It was perfect timing for us because as we were getting our things together for the trip...Brett got a call that he is no longer on the crappy schedule!!!!! Perfect way to celebrate this VERY long year of crazy schedules!

Uncle brett was such a trooper and watched Blue's Clues LOTS!!!!

*On Monday night, we CARVED PUMPKINS!!!!

The one on the right was done by Michael!!!
It was so fun to carve pumpkins together!

*I made and apple cobbler and Cash really wanted to eat the topping before it was baked...GROSS...but he seemed to like it!

*Carter and Gage in the double stroller...Everyone asked if they were twins..HAHA
Love to have cousins so close in age!
*Oh and you can't go to Palm Springs and not go to the OUTLETS!!!!!!!
We LOVE to shop and it was so fun to get out and go! The weather was beautiful there!

So Exciting!!!!

Well I have waited a few days to post this just so that we didn't jinx our selves....
It is the coolest feeling when the first time you are woken up in the middle of the night is by your bladder telling you that you have to pee, and not by your semi-hungry, very tired and crying son!!!!!!!!!!!
Gage is consistently sleeping between 6-7 hours the first stretch at night!!!!!!!!!!
That means we have a much happier Mom around here!!!!!
Seriously G money is getting so big, we say to each other everyday how he is changing constantly!
It is so fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Early October Update!

Well our family has had an eventful beginning of October!
First off we have to give a shout out to my Brother Austin, or better known around these parts as "Uncle", because he turned the BIG 14 on the 5th!
We are so amazed at how old he is getting and what a great young "MAN" he is turning in to.
I would have pictures of him from over the years....but thats another story.
Our computer is having some issues and while Brett is working on it I can't get to my pictures..
I keep praying that I don't lose all my pictures.
On a lighter note.....
G Money is LOVING his Exer-saucer!!!!!
He just laughs and laughs and is really playing with the toys!
He turns himself around and I LOVE to watch him play!

Our Little man is getting so big!
He pretty much fills the tub now!

Another milestone in the Searles family this past week!
This is G Unit in his 1st 3-6 month out fit!
Seriously, seems like just last week we were putting him in premie clothes!
He is getting just "BEEFY"!(Just like our Carter Girl!)
Brett and I thought that before it got cold here in Arizona...
We had to take Gage Swimming!
On the way to the Val Vista Lakes Clubhouse to go in the heated pool...
He fell asleep!
Not too excited to go in the pool at this point!

Love that it has a built in diaper so you don't have to get one of the swim ones!

We had so much fun! Thank you Barbie for going with us and taking lots of fun pictures of
another Gager milestone!

We are also so proud of Austin for making All-star's for football!!!!!

*We are also having some serious withdraws from Tyf and the family!
We are so lucky that they came to town for 36 hours this week and we got to visit....
but it's just not the same as having my Best friend just a SHORT car ride away.
We have to have our gossip sessions over the phone...and I am sure that we will end up
using a lot more minutes than we have in the past, because we won't get together every other day!
Just remember Tyf that we Love you guys and miss you tons!!!!

~Camping/Birthday!~

Well my birthday was on Saturday and I really

just wanted to go and get out of the heat and be with family!
So, my parents, my sister and her family, 2 of Michael's siblings,
and the 3 of us went Camping!
It was so much fun!
The weather was beautiful!!!!!
We got out of the HEAT!
I got to spend lots of time with my boys!
I LOVE spending time with the niece's and nephew too!
*Cash told me "Aunt Britt, I Love TAMPING!"(AKA camping!)
I am pretty sure it's because of all the junk food and dirt!
*Gage and Carter after FINALLY getting to eat after a long car ride!
They were "HAPPY CAMPERS!" ha ha
p.s. this was their first camping trip!

Dang Shots...

Well our SUPER big 2 month old Mr. G Money
had his 2 month check up and shots today.
Sad day for me, I couldn't even go in, Brett went.
- Reese told me we should have gone back because we could here Baby Gage crying from the lobby of the Doctor's office.*So sad to see the "band-dids" according to Reese and Cash!
**But couldn't you just eat those thighs!!
Gage weighs 12 lbs 6 ozs and is in the 55th percentile!!!!

So amazing to watch him grow!

~Fun!~

Brett and I have been having so much fun with Gage!
It is the most amazing feeling to have a baby and know that you are doing everything in
your power to make sure they are happy and healthy!
Gage has had a cold, but is now better!
His being sick made for a couple of REALLY LONG nights!
But we got past that!
Brett is an amazing help when I get to my breaking point and just need 7 hours of sleep straight!
I feel so blessed to have and amazing Husband and beautiful son!



*Gage was really hungry...but I just wanted a picture of he and I.. We don;t have very many of those! So he was not too happy with me!

*Brett thought this was really funny because this is the exact position that I sleep in!

*Ohio State played USC and Gage was ready for the game! He had his Ohio State onesie on!

*G-Money is becoming such a happy little man! It is so amazing to watch him get so happy and smile so much!(Sorry my flash stinks!)

*He just looks SO BIG to me right here. I can;t believe that he is growing so fast.
Everyone always tells you that they grow up too fast and I don't think you realize it until you have your own and watch the changes that are made everyday!
So amazing!
