Swimming!!!!

I really LOVE the fact that in April we can go swimming and lay out!!
Gage has such fare skin that we have to make sure he is wearing the UV protection shirt and a hat all the time! He really isn't a fan of the hat! But its a MUST!
Gage Is having so much fun in the pool, We got him this AWESOME floaty!

He gets himself in the face, then looks around like "HEY, who just splashed me?!?"

Enemy...Or Best Friend???

Gage has had a cold off and on for a while, and this kid totally knows the Bulb Syringe.
He sees it coming and gets so mad, and just screams.
Then once i get all the "gunk" out he is SO happy!
He just can't decide if the "Nose sucker" is his Enemy or His Best Friend!

*I know his night-night's don't match...LONG STORY!

A Spoon???

Well kind of a spoon!
Gage has been reaching for the spoon every time i feed him,
So , I got this "dipper", spoon like utensil, and he thought it was pretty funny that I handed it to him and put the bowl on his tray!
*There was food EVERYWHERE!!!!!
It was funny to see him go at it with the spoon!
He is getting so big!

Easter Weekend!

We had a very fun and low key Easter this year!

Which was perfect because I know from now on ALL holidays will be crazy!!!
This year Gage was too young for the "whole Easter shabang!"
We did Easter with Brett's family on Saturday, it was so fun to watch how Gage is starting to interact with his cousins!
Gage was playing pretty rough with Kyle, (Thanks to Carter!!! She taught Gage everything he knows! HAHA!) Sorry Kyle!! We Love You!

Apparently Gage thinks he can have Reese'e Pieces!
He LOVED that it was in a bag that made noise!!
*This ply wood sign was made by Sherri's Dad made a long time ago, and she still decorates with it!

On Sunday morning we went to church with Barbie, Papa and Uncle!
It was so fun to spend Easter Morning with them!!!!

Barbie and I were laying out in the backyard, getting a start on our tans for this year!
Gage got to "Swim" in his pool, in the buff with Uncle!
This kid LOVES to be naked!
He was in heaven! Otter Pop in hand and he was having a ball!

It is about time!!!!!!!!

Well Folks it's official.....
Gage is crawling!!!!!!!
Finally!!!
He has been pretty lazy about the whole crawling thing.
But now that he knows whats up...
He is unstoppable!Gage decided to crawl across our bedroom at 6:30 am,
So we were officially awake after this HUGE accomplishment!

It amazes me how much he changes on a daily basis, and it is so exciting to watch him grow!

Traditions!

When I think back to the times that I spent with my Grandma (Mom-Mom), There is always 1 thing that always sticks out!

MAKING POTATO PANCAKES!!!!

My Mom and I have tried for years to get ours to taste just as good as hers do...but that is impossible!
Mostly because she has NO RECIPE!!!!
Today My Mom and I decided that we needed some traditions of our own, now that I have a family and all that jazz. (There was just 1 problem...Tyf was not here to be a part of this, we miss her so much!)
Today My Mom and I got all the stuff we needed to make these delish pancakes!!!
And guess what....they were almost exactly like Mom-Mom's!!!!!!
We were so proud of ourselves!!!!
So now every Good Friday, My Mom and I will be making Potato Pancakes!!!
SOOO YUMMMMMMY!
Please don't mind the fact that I am indeed in my pajamas at 3 in the afternoon!
*Mom-Mom we missed you today!!!! Can't wait to make these with you this summer!

I am always laughing!!!

I have felt lately that I am always laughing! If it's not at Gage, Which it usually is!

Than it's Brett, or my brother, or my mom!
They are just too funny!
And today was no different!
I was changing G$ and I turn away for 1.2 seconds..and this is what I see!!!!!!!

I WAS DYING!
When you look at that, I hope it brightens your day!
Today G$ and I went to my parents to spend Good Friday over there,
While we were there My Mom had my Brother trimming the palm tree!
This was too funny and he was almost as good as a professional! (HAHA NOT!)
(Please note the Pit hair in this pic! He is getting so old! I guess that's what happens to 14 year olds!)Big day for G$, he went up the stairs today with Brett behind him, but he went the whole way!
No help from Daddy! Now we need to work on going down!I didn't think that we would dye eggs this year only because Gage won't remember it obviously, and My Sister and her fam isn't here this year, but then I figured that we have to do some! It's Gage's 1st Easter!
I have more on the eggs later in my Easter post, but here is Gage just about 3 seconds before he bit in to the hard boiled egg and wasn't too sure what was up! TOO FUNNY!

I have decided that laughter is the best medicine, and that life is so much nicer and easier when you laugh!
