Harper has 4 top teeth now! So crazy! She is getting more brave everyday with the attempting to walk. She is still timid with it. But it will be soon.

Gage is still obsessed with baseball! And is VERY in to writing right now.

I think he writes about 100 G's everyday.

My favorite thing he says is, "Mom, looks at my G's's." and it comes out "Mom, Look at my JESUS!" it is so cute and so funny I just love all the changes in both of them right now!

Life is hectic and very fun!

And I so enjoy spending everyday with my crazy kids!!!

Christmas 2011

I am so behind on my blogging...and so I am going to slowly try to catch up!

Christmas was so exciting this year!!!

We were able to spend time with both of our families, and Brett's sister LaNette and our niece Anna came from Oklahoma for Christmas! It was so much fun to have them here!

My parents got a new puppy right before Christmas, her name is Daisy, and I am pretty sure she and Harper will be Best Friends forever! She is so dang cute! (Pictures of her to come!)

We are so lucky that Brett's parents and neighbors "Know" Santa really, really, really well! And we get to have a little meeting with him, and the kids get to talk to him and take pictures every year!!! It is so nice to NOT go to the stinkin' mall! We did that on Christmas Eve, and Tyf came with her kids too! It was so fun!

We went to church, the music was amazing!!! And I just love listening to the message about Christmas...I think its really easy to get caught up in all the "Excitement" and forget why we celebrate!

Christmas Eve was spent at Brett's parents house. It was CrAzY with the kids, but it was so fun to be around family!

My parents and Austin stayed at our house Christmas Eve, and were here with us Christmas morning!

That was so fun!

Halloween was so much fun this year!!!

We celebrated for a week!

We carved pumpkins twice! And we wore our costumes twice! And there were LOTS of treats eaten!

Camping!

Brett has been on vacation for the past week, and we didn't really have anything planned, so we decided on Monday to load up on Tuesday morning and go to Payson and go camping!

It was a blast! Gage was loving every minute of being outside, playing in the dirt, and eating snacks.

But, I think His favorite part was the tent! He thought that was the coolest thing!

It was hard to keep him out!

Cheering Section!

Last weekend Austin had a Baseball Tournament, and both my parents were out of town!!!

He had 4 games in 3 days, it was so fun to be there to watch him and cheer him on! He had the biggest cheering section there was!

Pumpkin Patch

Last week we went to the Pumpkin Patch with Brett's brother Brian, his kids, and Brett's parents!

It was so much fun. The kids had a blast!

16 Already?

Today is a very special day, My "Baby" Brother turns 16!

It is something I didn't think too much about, until THIS MORNING!

We were with him last night at the Diamondbacks game, and we celebrated with Tyf and her family on Monday night, and it didn't really hit me at all until today.

Austin is such an amazing young man, and I am so blessed to have him as a brother, and my kids are seriously so lucky to have him as an Uncle. He is so good with all his nieces and nephews, he surprises me everytime he is with them!

Tyf told him the other day, "Aus you are going to be the BEST Dad, when you are 35!"

I laughed so hard at that! I love it!

Austin is growing up to be such an awesome person. I actually want to be his friend, I am not forced to just because he is my brother!

He has an amazing sense of humor.

He is a fabulous Baseball player!

He enjoys spending time with his family! (I think!)

He eats more than any teenager I have ever met! (I am going to say its because he is growing!)

He is always willing to help out with my kids! (I am so grateful!)

He is a GREAT driver! (Come on Nov. 5th!!!!! Let's get that license!!!)

Oh Yeah and he stood in line for 3 hours just to meet, and get an autograph from Jennie Finch! HAHA

We love you so much Austin!

You are My absolute FAVORITE brother!

6 Month Stats

Harper is now 6 months old, and I am in a little bit of shock! As much as I feel that She has been in our family forever, it also seems like just yesterday She was laying on my chest just seconds after she was born. (One of my most favorite memories of both my kids!)

Harper is so crazy and fun we just LOVE her!!!

What Harper is doing now:

*Sleeping at least 11 hours EVERY night!

*Still an awesome nurser!

*Eating "Real" food 3 times a day!

*Loves Green veggies the most!

*Rolling EVERYWHERE!

*Gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth!

*She does the inch worm, but she is REALLY close to crawling!

*Her tongue is so crazy, its always sticking out!

*She laughs at Gage over everything!

*She loves snuggling her Daddy, and that is so stinkin' cute!

We haven't had any pictures taken since Harper was born, it is so nice to document! I HAVE GOT to be better at it! (Maybe I need a sweet camera!!!!)

Gage and Carter

I am so happy that Gage loves his cousins so much. He and Carter are only 6 weeks apart, and they act like twins, play like siblings and love each other SOOO much!

Even though they argue pretty much about everything, it is so amazing to watch these two CrAzY toddlers grow up together! I can't wait for Harper and Graham to have this same type of relationship!

While Tyf and her fam were moving back to AZ, Carter came to stay with us for a couple of days. Mostly because the thought of moving anywhere with a 2 year old right under my feet almost made me want to cry, So Tyf just needed that stress gone! We had so much fun!

We went to this awesome Bounce place! It was so much fun, and they both LOVED it! ( We have already been back! This is about 2 weeks old...I know I am a horrible blogger!)

Now that Tyf lives so close it is so nice to have Play dates and let the kids play!

5 whole months!!!

Today Harper is 5 months old.

I can seriously NOT believe it.

Every time I think about my sweet baby, i still think of her as 5 weeks old not 5 MONTHS!

The other night I was putting on her pj's and could not figure out why they were so short on her... I kept thinking, "These are 3 month pj's!!! What the heck!" and then I got to thinking about it, and she is closer to 6 months than 3!!! WOW! Time flies when you are having fun!

Sorry its blurry...its from my dang phone!

Things Harper is doing at 5 months old:

*Sleeping at least 10 hours at night!

*Eating Oatmeal! (3 times a day!)

*Laughing ALOT! (Especially at Gage!)

*Rolls everywhere! Back to belly and belly to back! all the way across the room!

*She would Play in her saucer all day long if we let her!

*Pulls everyone's hair! Even my mom! And her hair is WAY short!

*She is very ticklish!

*She has the craziest tongue ever! It is very rarely in her mouth!

*She is in mostly 6 month onsies, but still wears 0-3 month skirts! She is a tall and "Skinny" girl!

*She is OBSESSED with her Giraffe "Sophie"! It is so funny to hear it squeak from the back seat of the car!

Too Fast!

Harper was not interested in oatmeal at all for about a month. I would try it every few days...

and she would gag, or spit it out at me... and it always went pretty far. Which is always fun!

But, the day we got home from our 8 day trip to Florida, she started to eat the oatmeal like a Champ!!!

It has made her sleep so much better, and she LOVES it! I get a kick out of it when she squaks at me for more!

This past week my family was all in Florida for Mom-Mom's funeral.

We are so grateful to have had that time as a family to laugh and remember how AMAZING she is!

The service was perfect, and we were a little emotional, but we are so blessed to have had her in our lives! She will be with us forever!

Mom-Mom lived an amazing life, she was ALWAYS such a hard worker, and LOVED every minute of it. She is where I get my Sassiness from! I just love it!

I have not met very many people that have lived to 94, and She did it in style!!!

I know I will be seeing her again, and I know that she is happy and with us always!

We sure Love you Mom-Mom!!!!

Yuck...

I have been so bad about blogging lately... and I am going to blame it on the fact that Gage, Harper and I have all been sick for over a week now. (And I am a little bit lazy!!!!!)

There has been LOTS of Kleenex used, lots of cool baths to break fevers, and our fare share of meds to go along with it!

I took Harper in to the Doctor, because she would not eat and everytime I would try to nurse, she screamed. And sure enough she had an ear infection AND pink eye! Of course when 1 kid gets pink eye the other will FOR SURE get it, and I got it too! Thankfully the pediatrician just told me to use Harper's drops on all of us! So that was cleared up in just 2 days! Thank Heavens!

Gage had a fever for 7 days, and now just has the runny nose and cough still. Poor guy just isn't kicking this junk.

I then had NO voice what so ever for 2 days and still have a sore throat and cough.

We just keep praying that this will all be over VERY soon!!

I so wish that I had the talent to take amazing pictures... I am pretty sure to take amazing pictures you have to have an amazing camera...which I don't...but I sure do love my point and shoot to capture how awesome and crazy my kids are! I have been doing so much better keeping my camera handy lately! I am patting my self on the back!!!

Diamondbacks Game!

For Gage's actual Birthday we took him to his 1st Diamondbacks game!!!

We had so much fun!

Best idea ever Daddy!!!!

As much as Gage is OBSESSED with baseball we were too sure how he would do actually being there and sitting!

But, it was perfect!!! We only stayed until the bottom of the 6th inning, just long enough!

Gage had Nachos, a Hotdog, and got to drink some Pop! That was his favorite part I think!

Gage insisted that Uncle was playing all night!

My Sweet Gage turned 2 yesterday!

It is so amazing to watch him grow and develop so quickly!

Everyday we just laugh at hoe crazy Gage is!!!

Some facts about Gage:

* He is totally obsessed with Baseball!!!

*He has great manners!

*When He says Thank You it comes out as "Ship-Youuuuuuuuuu"!

*He is 95% potty trained!

*He knows all the calls and signs for being an Umpire! haha

*He knows all 26 letters and their sounds!

*His favorite show to watch is Super Why!

*Gage is loving the pool this summer, and just goes with his muscles ( floaties) on!

*He LOVES to help Daddy with tools and fixing anything he can!

*His favorite place to go is QT! (I have no idea why! Not brainwashed at all!)

*His favorite person in the whole world is Uncle Austin! Or better known as Uncle Baseball!

*Gage is an amazing Big Brother! He runs everytime Harper starts to cry!

*He cheers for Harper when she rolls over!

*He is always my helper with laundry! (Lets see how long that will last!)

*He is extremely coordinated when it comes to sports: Soccer, Football, Golf, and of course Baseball!

Father's Day!

I know it's late, but I still have to document it!

For Father's day this year we celebrated early with Brett's Dad and the rest of the family on Saturday. We went swimming, and had lunch over at Brett's Parents house.

On Father's Day we had a very lazy and relaxing morning! We had french toast for breakfast and then we made a batch of Homemade Oreos!!! I had lots of help in the kitchen!!!!

Harper went in the pool for the 1st time on Tuesday!

She LOVED it!

Earrings!

Last week we had a very special day for Harper!

She got her ears pierced!!!

It was so easy, after talking to our pediatrician and him suggesting to take her to either Claire's or Icing(He said they are the cleanest places he knows about!) to get it done, it was decided that we needed to take her! She did AMAZING!!! She cried for about 15 seconds, and that was it!

She does great when I have to clean them, and she just looks so stinkin' cute with her earrings!

Palm Springs 2011

The Kids and I went to Palm Springs for a few days to see my sister and her Fam, and we had so much fun!

2 Months Old!

I seriously can not believe that Harper is 2 Months old already!

It seems like last week I was still prego.

Harper these days:

*A very good eater!

*For sure my Diva child when it comes to diaper changes, the minute she is wet, She lets you know!

*She sleeps about 5 1/2 to 6 hours at night!

*She loves to get lotion after her bath!

*She giggles at Gage!

This past week The Kids and I ventured over to Palm Springs to visit with Tyf and her Fam!

Mother's Day 2011

We had a very fun Mother's Day's! HAHA

Brett works on Sundays so we took Gage and Harper to the zoo on Monday, just to have some family time! It was so much fun!

But for actual Mother's Day we didn't take very many pictures...

Brett's Dad was in the hospital over Mother's Day, so we stopped by to see Sherri on Sunday Morning, we couldn't stay long, Gage had too many things to play with in that hospital room!!!! But we are glad that we were able to see her on Mother's Day!

After that we went to My Parents house to have lunch!

We made Indian Fry Bread! SOOO DELICIOUS!

Today Barbie and I took Gage to the Lagoon pool at Val Vista Lakes to play!

He LOVES the pool now, and its perfect because he can go in as far as he is comfortable and can still stand!

This Easter was so much fun! I love that Gage is old enough now to really understand what is going on!

We are so lucky that both of our families are so close to share holidays with!

We did Easter with Brett's Family on Saturday, Gage was able to color eggs with his cousin's and that is WAY more fun than just doing it with us at home!

I keep thinking that the obsession Gage has over Harper will start to go away, and it for sure does not!

I think everyday he loves her even more if thats possible!

The moment he wakes up, he has to know where she is and what she is doing.

Every time she squaks or starts to cry for 2 seconds he comes to me and tells me she needs milk!

I am so glad that I have a 21 month old to tell me when to feed his sister!

Everyday we look at these faces and just can't believe that they are our crazy, fun kids! We just love it!

Gage has become quite the Little Snuggler since Miss. Harper Jo came home!

Harper is doing so amazing being at home!

She is seriously the easiest baby EVER!

I have to wake her up each feeding, and she is going 4 hours at night, and I am having to set an alarm to get her up to feed her then.

The adjustment with Gage becoming Big Brother has gone smoother than anticipated!

He always wants to help and "Hold Her!" which I love.

I feel so blessed to have my amazing kids, awesome husband, and 2 great families around us.

I know I am a little behind on my posts lately...Sorry!!!!

Life has been a little hectic around these parts!

The day before My Mom's Birthday, she had shoulder shoulder surgery, and with my Dad's CrAzY work schedule, she needed some help and so I was there for a few days!

*Gage was loving when Barbie was able to open her eyes and "Share" ice cream with him!

It was also over 90 degrees here last week, so that just means 1 thing at Barbie's house...

It's time to lay out and play in the pool!

*He loves that he can get in and out by himself!

We also had a surprise visit from one of Grandma's (Brett's Mom) friends from Missouri!

We LOVE when Aunt B comes to visit, and we are so glad that we were able to spend some time with her!

Barbie's Birthday Celebration!

Yesterday, since my sister was in town we thought it would be nice to celebrate my Mom's birthday while they were here. Her actual Birthday is March 10th, so it wasn't too early!

We took the kids swimming at the clubhouse, (Happy Birthday to Barbie!) haha

And we had pizza at home, which was perfect! No one had to cook!!! and the clean up...Seriously the best ever!

Of course Reese and Cash wanted to make cupcakes! So we did and they were yummy!

As we were walking through Wal-Mart getting the stuff for cupcakes, Reese tells Tyf and I,

"Barbie wants a Pinata for her Birthday!"

HAHA we were dying! It was a classic comment!

We ended up NOT having a Pinata, but decided to put it on the list for Reese's 6th birthday in August!

Far Away...

As I sit here and think about my sister Tyf and her family in Palm Springs, I am getting a little emotional tonight...

She lives 4 hours away, and I haven't seen her since Christmas.

In Sister time...That just about FOREVER.

She will be here in less than 2 weeks for my Baby Shower, but her trips are always too short, and we ALWAYS try to cram way too much in to the 2 or 3 days that she comes here for.

I know, I should be grateful that she does live only 4 hours away, but the Doctor doesn't want me going anywhere so that means..No visits, and that just means I am going to complain about it.

Hopefully when Little Miss comes she will just decide she can't be away any more and just come home!

Oh and by the way...have you looked at the countdown???Only 38 days until my due date!

That is so close!

Zoo!

On Friday, Barbie's class took a field trip to the Zoo, and it was perfect because we have the membership and could just meet them there!

We had so much fun!

It was a lot of walking, and I was SOOO tired after.

I went to my parents and took a 3 hour nap after!

She kept asking Brett who his Wife was?!? Too Funny.

31 Weeks

31 weeks! Holy Moly!!!!

I honestly feel like I was just 18 weeks yesterday! So exciting!

I have been working on Bedding, hair accessories, jewelry, blankets, burp cloths, painting, and just organizing non stop for the past 3 weeks! I have spent LOTS of hours at my sewing machine!!! But I am having so much fun! (I will have pictures soon of all the fun stuff!)

Here I am at 31 weeks, Not as big ALL OVER as I was with Gage, but I feel like I am carrying Little Miss more out front.

Here is Big Brother Gage!!!

He is really in to "Photo Shoots" right now. All I have to do is show him the camera and he starts smiling and doing all his "Tricks"!

Only a few more weeks until Little Miss joins us!

Homemade Perogies!!!!

Today was so much fun!!!!

My Mom and family friend were over at my house and we made Homemade Perogies.

Perogies are a Polish dumpling, and are DELISHHHHHH!!!!

Best invention EVER!

We usually buy them frozen in a box at the store, but they are so much better homemade!

*Please excuse that I am still in my pajamas and need a shower!

(Incase you missed it, the KitchenAid in the pic is MINE!!!!! It was my Christmas gift from Sherri and Dave!!LOVE IT)

*This was only half of what we made! At least I have some in my freezer so I can eat them WHENEVER I want!

The Park

We have been loving the weather this week, and the park is such a fun way to get some of Gage's energy out!!! Too bad by the time we get there I am totally out of breath!!!!

It seems that our family can not let just 1 grandchild be born at a time we have to go in pairs!

2010 Has been such a fun year, watching our "Baby" turn in to a "Big Boy" right before our eyes!
It's amazing to think that just 1 year ago he was not walking, not talking, and for sure Not getting in to everything around here!

January: Gage got his 1st tooth! Such a milestone!

February: Sitting up on his own, and the army crawl!

March: Really started to eat ALOT!

April: 1st Easter, began to crawl for real!

May: Loved swimming in Barbie's pool!

June: Finger painting with whatever he was eating on his tray! (He still does this!)

July: Turned 1, had a BIG party! Found out Gage LOVES cake!

August: 1st "Real" injury, the laundry basket bit him on the nose!

September: Started to help Dad do work out side. (An all time favorite still!)

October: Went Trick-Or-Treating for the 1st time, Gage was a golfer!

November: 1st time to Zoo Lights! So much to look at!

December: Get his 1st bike for Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

This year we had such a fun and busy Christmas! We are so blessed to have most of our family close enough to see on these special days! Tyf and her family are here for a week, so that was CrAzY having 4 kids 5 and under opening presents!!! But it was was so much fun!

On Christmas Eve We went over to Brett's parents house to celebrate Christmas with them! It was so great to be together and enjoy the company. We ate TONS of yummy food, opened gifts and went on golf cart rides to see all the lights in their neighborhood! Of course Gage couldn't stand it any longer and insisted on sitting on Grandma's lap and driving the golf cart. TOO FUNNY!*On the golf cart, looking at lights!
*Gage got "Your Baby Can Read"!!!!! YAY!
*Aunt B got Gage an awesome tractor! He LOVES it!
*Grandma Sherri made the boys pajamas and this was late in the evening! So excuse the faces.

After Grandma and Grandpa's house we came home, and SANTA came to our house, and left Gage LOTS of fun things!!!! He got his first Tricycle!!! Once he saw the trike and got on it, it was like there was nothing else in the room but he and his trike! It was so stinkin' cute!! Gage got lots of books, a hoodie, a new chair, and maracas! He was loving the noise! We had so much fun opening presents with Gage this year! He was so in to it!*Getting on the Trike! He knew exactly what to do!
*Finally able to tear himself away from the Trike to open other gifts!
*Maracas! Gotta love it!
*So excited to find candy in his stocking!
As soon as we finished opening gifts at our house, We went to my parents house. My sister is staying there so they were all ready to go once we got there! Barbie had breakfast all ready once we got there, I so love her traditional Christmas Breakfast, Cinnamon rolls, pigs in a blanket, fruit and fruit dip, and bacon! So yummy and easy to eat while tearing in to presents!
There were so many highlights of Barbie's house for Christmas! Cash got a new Bike. Santa brought balance beams (1 for Tyf's house and 1 for Barbie's house). Cloths, goodies for our pantry, a guitar, horses on sticks that the kids can ride,crayons, bath crayons, blankets and Oh So Much More!!!!*Not excited or anything! Check out the Ear to Ear grin!

Santa!

Every year we are so very lucky that Grandma Sherri has a "VERY SPECIAL FRIEND" Santa who comes to visit! It is so fun to get people together and have a photo-op and not have to go to the mall with the rest of Arizona!

This year Tyf was here with her crew and Brian and Kimberly were there with their boys, and a nurse that Sherri works with brought her daughter too! It was so much fun!
Sherri had a snowflake for all the kids to color, and they all loved it!
Then Santa called from the neighbors house and we went over there!

*Reese Telling Santa she wants the "Toy Story" set for Christmas!
*Cash telling Santa he wants an iPhone!!!
*Carter LOVED Santa! HAHAHA
*Gage LOVED him even more than Carter!
*Tyf and I trying to at least get a picture with the 4 kids... WOW that was an adventure!
*Evan came prepared, he had the booklet of Transformers to show Santa exactly the ones he wanted!

This was so much fun, Brett and I totally loved watching the reactions of all the kids to Santa this year...Hopefully next year I will get a picture of Gage smiling with Santa, since the Baby will be too young to care! YAY!

22 Weeks!

With our lives being so hectic this past month, I have not been paying too much attention to how fast this pregnancy is going! Already in the middle of week 22! WOW! So fast! Now that my Best Friend, Kylie's wedding is over and I don't have a dress to fit in to, I feel like I blowing up like a balloon everyday!
We decorated for Christmas last night, except for our outside lights, but, both Brett and I aren't feeling very well the past couple of days, so when Brett is up to it, that is next on our agenda!
Oh and our tree is pretty bare this year, mostly because as we were putting ornaments on the tree a certain someone was taking them off!

*22 weeks, Gage LOVES giving "Sister" kisses!

Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving my family came over and ate at my house! It was really fun, and I was REALLY excited/nervous to make my OWN turkey this year! The past couple of years My Mom has been there to:

#1 Do the gross parts!
#2 Touch the raw turkey!
#3 Tell me what to stuff it with!
But this year I did it all! Even the gross parts!
P.s. I thought the Neck came in a bag...but FYI it doesn't! haha
But it came out PERFECT! I was so happy!
I also tackled Gravy from scratch for the first time, and it was DELISH!
I was so, SOO Happy about that too!
*The Wii was on pretty much all day, and it was fun to have everyone over at our house!
After we ate We took the kids to the park to run off some of their energy!
It was so nice to have my sister and her family here for Thanksgiving this year!

Zoo Lights!

This year We went to Zoo Lights with my Parents, and My Sister, her Kiddos, and my Brother!!!

It was so much fun! And the kids all did amazing!
I so enjoy going to Zoo Lights every year, and It was so fun to go with my family and make it a fun night with everyone! We went on Members only night, the preview! And it was not busy at all! So perfect! We will go on that night every year from now on!

Kylie's Bridal Shower

Most of you know that my Best Friend Kylie is getting married the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and I am SO excited!!! Her Fiance, Jake is such a sweet guy and we just LOVE him! Especially Gage, He is pretty obsessed with his "Uncle Jake", and can't wait for him to get home from school in Kansas!

All of Us bridesmaids held a shower for Kylie, and we had such a good time doing it! We are all pretty close anyways so it made it so much more fun!*The Bridesmaids, Vanessa, Alaina, Me, Kylie the Bride, Jessica, and Chelsea.

I can't believe how fast these past 2 years have gone!
It has been amazing being married to my Best Friend!
We have so many great memories, and done so much in 2 years!
Including bringing Gage in to our family, and we have our little Princess on the way to add to our CrAzY around our house! I would not have it any other way!

Big Helper

Gage is such a big helper...
*When it comes to laundry he takes 1 piece of clothing at a time drags it across the floor and puts it somewhere around the couch for me to fold.
*When it comes to dishes, He will stand on the dishwasher and pull/push the racks in/out (Always the opposite of where I need them!)
*When it comes to sweeping, he steals the broom and refuses to give it back!
*When it comes to putting his toys away, the toys just end up in the other room still scattered all over the place!
*When it comes to vacuuming, he enjoys riding the vacuum.
So of course when it comes time to help Daddy outside he is such a BIG HELPER!
He had to be in the back of truck, because that is where Brett is, and he has to have tools and of course has to be banging on stuff.
He so loves to be in the garage with Brett, and I am so grateful that Brett has the most patience of anyone I know, or else we would have some serious issues!
*The light needed to be fixed!
*Oh Yes He did get all the way up on that tool box all by himself!

We love all help that we get from our Big Boy, and someday soon...the help will REALLY be HELP!

And just a side note.... My sister is coming for the week of Thanksgiving and I can't wait for her to get here so we can start doing projects for the new Princess!

It's A Girl!!!!!!!

We had our ultrasound today and we found out that the baby is a Girl!!!!
We are so excited!!!
It will be so much fun to have 1 of each!!
It is really crazy that I am already 18 weeks, it is going so fast!
I keep looking at the ticker on the side of my blog...which by the way it totally creeps my sister out...the floating baby...but thats why I still have it on there! XOXO
The days just keep slipping away...SO FAST!!!!

We can't wait for this little princess to get here in April!!!!

Halloween!

We had such a fun Halloween this year!!!
It was very low key and just perfect! Brett was able to take the day off to be there for Gage's 1st "real" Halloween experience! And we are both so glad that he did!
My Mom and I made chili and corn bread for lunch, so that there was a little bit of substantial food going on, and I am pretty sure I want to make that a family tradition! It's so easy and the crock pot is for sure a Mom's best friend!
We were able to take Gage to church for a small Trunk or Treat, He got to play games and get candy and it was all right there in the parking lot!!! So perfect!
We were also able to go visit Grandpa Dave, Grandma was working,We sure missed her! But, it was fun to go show off His costume! We also went to see Sherri and Dave's neighbors that have been able to watch Gage get big! So it was fun!

*Here is out Little Golfer in Donna and Garry's Golf cart! This was probably the highlight of Gage's whole day!

We also went Trick or Treating around Barbie and Papa's neighborhood! That was so fun! We know more people around there than we do in our neighborhood, and it was fun to take Gage in the same neighborhood that I Trick or Treated in when I was younger!
By the way... I NEVER remember feeling like I was going to die after Trick or Treating...and last night I for sure felt like I was about to die! SO MUCH WALKING!!!!

Pumpkin Carving!

Today we carved our pumpkin!!!!

It was so much fun! Gage wasn't REALLY into it...just kind of this year! But, hey it was still fun!
He really just wanted Daddy's super cool Pumpkin Carving Tool that I got for him a couple of years ago!

*He wasn't very impressed with what came out of the pumpkin!
*The bowl for "insides" and Gage made sure he got EVERY last seed out of that bowl!
He was trying to eat the seeds before I baked them! GROSS!

*Just after Daddy finished, Gage had to poke the holes just to see what was going on!

If you notice the pumpkin has 4 teeth and top and 3 teeth on bottom...Just like Gage has right now!

We are very excited for Halloween on Sunday, Brett took the day off so he can go around and show everyone his super cute costume!

Zoo!

Brett and I were talking about taking Gage to the zoo, and we decided to just get the membership, because it is so dang expensive to just go 1 time!

We went for the 1st time on Monday, and it was so much fun!
We love the idea of the membership, because we can go for an hour and we won't feel like we are wasting all that money! So Perfect!

*Gage did NOT like any of the animal statues! He would tell us NO every time we got close!
*Favorite part of Gage's trip to the Zoo, Driving the tractor!
*Petting the Goats, He wasn't too sure.
*Watching the Orangutan's, So stinkin' cute!

We had so much fun, It is perfect weather right now, and spending time together is always needed! We will be going to the quite often the winter!

P.S. My shins still are sore from the walking!

So, My amazing husband made me one!!!

15 Months

My sweet Gage just turned 15 months yesterday...
What a bitter/sweet day! I want him to stay my little baby forever...But we are for sure having so much fun with him getting older!

Some of his "Tricks":

*He signs: Baby, Please, More, All Done and if you lucky on a good day you will get a Thank You!
*He says: Mom, Dad, Dog, All Done, Yeah.
*He knows where the Baby is and points to it!
*He LOVES the Moon, and Airplanes, Thanks to Papa!
*When Daddy is home, Mom is Chopped Liver!
*At Barbies House when he is ready to go for a walk, he just goes to the Garage door and waits for Papa to meet him there!
*He is a fabulous Dancer, and doing circles is his favorite!
*Anytime he hears a dog...he yells "GOG" haha and points!
*He is a great eater!
*He always plays so well with his friends and cousins!
*He plays soccer with Daddy all the time, and is totally Left footed!
*When the Microwave beeps or the timer goes off, he runs to the kitchen because he thinks he can reach!
*He can open the dishwasher, Not a fun trick!
*He likes to "Help" with laundry and I am pretty sure will break the door to the dryer soon.
*He shakes his NO even when he wants something!

Gage is such an awesome Boy, and we are so grateful to have him in our family!

At the Doctor yesterday his stats were:
Height: 33.25 inches / 97th percentile!
Weight: 23lbs 15ozs / 45th percentile!

He is so tall! When the Dr. said that, Brett and I both just started to laugh!!!

Pumpkin Patch!

On Friday Brett's parents invited Gage and I to go to a Pumpkin Patch with them, They were taking Evan and Kyle, so of course I said Yes!!!!

It was so much fun...Pretty dang HOT that day to say the least...but we had a blast!
They have a hay ride, jumpy castles, mazes, animals to look at, (there was a HUGE pigs which Gage was not a fan of) and the Pumpkin Patch.
It was a lot of fun, But we sure missed Brett. After seeing Gage with the pumpkins I think we may have to go back or to a different one just so he can be there!
Gage thought that the little Baby Pumpkins were balls, and kept throwing them, and getting very proud of himself after! It was so cute!

15 weeks

I am planning on putting a picture on here each week through out this pregnancy...Sorry if it gets super repetitive, But I am planning on putting a blog book together so I want to just have this all done!
Week 15 seems like it got here so fast! And I feel like I just keep getting bigger EVERYDAY!!!
I feel really good, cramping is pretty uncomfortable, but its all part of it!
Gage knows where the "Baby" is and points to my belly, and pushes on my belly button. He can never just point to my belly, but MUST push my shirt up so that he can see the skin! He is so dang funny!
He signs "Baby" every time we say it and gets REALLY proud of himself!
It is so fun going through this process with a toddler!
I am totally loving it!

*Here We are 15 weeks!
(I think this shirt makes me look bigger than I really am! Keep that in mind!)

I learned from a VERY young age from my fabulous sister that eating the dough is actually better than eating the cookies!

Pumpkin Dance!

Last weekend Tyf had a reunion to go to, so Barbie had her kids!
It was so much fun to have them around, we so miss them when they are in Palm Springs!
Barbie kept telling Reese and Cash that in order to be able to go pick out pumpkins, they had to continuously do the "Pumpkin Dance" all day long! And of course...THEY DID!!!
It was so funny, they were skipping and jumping and singing "We are going to get Pumpkins!!!"
Over and Over and Over again!*Here are the Big kids with their pumpkins, that they had to out in the cart all by them selves... It was more like a Slam Dunk!!!

*This was our circus going to the store. 4 carseats is so funny to deal with! Thanks goodness we had 4 adults! haha and that Barbie has a Ginormous car!!!

Today Uncle Austin turns 15!!!!

It is so crazy to me that He is already that old...but Seriously?? 15?!?!
Austin has turned in to one of my Best Friends, and such an amazing young man!
I feel so blessed to have in our lives, and so grateful to how wonderful he is with all his Nieces and Nephews.

14 weeks!

I seriously can not believe how fast this pregnancy is going compared to my first one.
I am sure it is because I don't have time to just sit around and wait for this baby to come!
I am so much busier this time around!
Even though I am not working, having a toddler is a different kind of work, but so much fun!
I have not been nearly as sick as I was with Gage, so that makes things SOOO much easier!

Last night Austin went to Gilbert Homecoming!

He went with a group of friends, and it was so much fun to be there for pictures!
It is so weird that he is getting older, and doing all the teenager things, but I am so happy for him!

Palm Springs!

This past week, Gage and I took a trip to Palm Springs to visit my Sister and her Family!!
It was so much fun!!!!!
Tyf has a very busy schedule with Reese in Kindergarten, Cash in Preschool, and both in Gymnastics! It was fun to just go along with the usual stuff and just be with Her.
We spent ALOT of time just talking, and not doing any of the projects we had planned on doing!
But, we were totally OK with that!

Gage had a blast playing with his cousins, and as He and Carter get older.... They are more Double Trouble!!!! So funny!!!

The Latest...

The Latest Addition to our little family is on their way!!!!
Gage is going to be a Big Brother around April 6th 2011!!!!
We are so very excited to meet this babe, and just snuggle he/she FOREVER!!!

We can't wait to see if it's a Girl or a Boy!!!

Working Hard!

Gage is not a fan of Brett working in the backyard, and him being inside.
He will let me know too! He bangs on the door and screams until Brett turns around and talks to him through the door, or comes to get him and take him out side.
Now that our patio is about 90% finished Gage can go out and "HELP" Daddy.
*As Brett was putting rocks down, Gage was pushing them away! HAHA
*Brett was worried that he was going to get the water right on his bum!
But that didn't happen....Dang it! haha

Brett so enjoys Gage being older and able to be around when he is doing projects! It is so fun to watch them!!! I Love it!

Oh how I absolutely LOVE being a Mom.
Sometimes when I am cleaning up toys for the 10th time a day, or doing TONS of laundry, or doing dishes, or watching Diego or Yo Gabba Gabba for the 4th time...You know all the normal Mom things, I start thinking how I just do not enjoy doing those things OVER and OVER again...
But, then I sit back and look at how amazing Gage is, and what a great family we have.
Then I end up getting one of those SUPER BIG SQUEEZES and a NICE WET KISS from my little man, and all that complaining and irritation is gone! I feel so blessed and am SO grateful that I am able to stay home and do the job that I so Love,
Being a Mom!
And when I really think about all the Mom things I do everyday..I LOVE those things and would not change them for anything! EVER!

Yesterday we had a pretty crazy monsoon at our house. Lots of wind and some crazy rain for about 2 hours. When the wind slowed down we took Gage outside, and he was pretty confused!
I guess that's what happens when you live in Arizona and it rarely rains!
But, once he got used to the getting wet part, he was having fun with Daddy!

*The drive way was really slippery and he DID NOT want any help walking out there.

Starting on Sunday, Gage had a low grade fever, and when he had Tylenol it would go down, then back up again. I just figured it was due to the teething.
This went on all day Sunday, All day Monday, All day Tuesday, Then Tuesday afternoon, he started to break out in a rash. Little, red dots, not raised very much...But LOTS of them. And it just kept spreading.
We took Him to the Doctor today, and he has Roseola.
We all get it, just once, but he is not contagious now that the fever is gone.
I am so happy to have peace of mind, knowing what is wrong, and that there is NOTHING we can do to help makes me feel a tiny bit better!The rash should be totally gone in 3 days!

Last week Gage and I took a very special trip with my Mom, Austin, Tyf and Carter to Florida, to see my Grandma, Mom-Mom, and my Aunt! It was so special to have us all there at the same time, and to be able to introduce Gage and Carter to their G.G. (Great-Grandma!)!!!

Fossil Creek

Sunday we decided to head up to Fossil Creek! We had never been before, but my family said that it was beautiful!
Kylie, Jake and Austin went with us! And it was PERFECT to get away for the day!

On Sunday, We celebrated Gage's 1st Birthday with a Very fun party at our house!
All I can say about that.... is that Our Son is a very LOVED (spoiled) Boy!!!
He had all the people that love Him so much here, and it was so awesome to watch him love on everyone!!! He was all about the attention he got, and was for sure on a sugar high for most of the evening! (He didn't go to sleep until 8:45!)
